@atlas if you could cross compile it would be great. But yeah that's complicated to setup :(

@thegreatape Gentoo is a joke. I just need this netbook to turn on, take notes, do light tasks, turn off. I don't want to operate it.

@atlas I do love Gentoo for being able to min max every program for performance, it's still the fastest distro I used on my older hardware. Albeit my older hardware has more than 2G of ram so it wasn't AS painful.
Buuuut yeah I stopped using Gentoo because of similar reasons. It's like a part time job running it. Especially if it's on multiple systems.

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz I am a computer user, not someone who gives a shit about politics.

@atlas well, i said that as a joke, but if you notice a few details on Antix, you'll notice it's heavily political. neocat_uwu

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz I'm having too many second thoughts now. Why can't picking a distro be simple?!

@atlas it is simple if you want to, AntiX is great for old machines.

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz I prefer my computer to be a computer, not a flag. That said, I think I'll just reinstall MX Linux running i3.
