I started using kagi after I've read your opinions on it, and I gotta say, in websites like this I can just ask Kagi for a TL;DR of the page and it works really well.

@raccoon is kagi that paid search engine thing? i've heard of them because of their orion browser on macOS, but don't know much about it.

Yeah, I'm not happy to pay but I'm happy with the product.
Sadly in this day and age if you want to be respected as a user you mostly have to use services that are not gratis.

I dislike paying, but I started doing so for a search engine and for my mail address, since it's the two things that we use a lot and that are also used a lot to harvest our data.

I'm sure some people would consider me dumb AF for this but whatever.

@raccoon i understand that. But to be honest, if the service is actually good and it's useful to me, i don't mind paying them (it's the opposite of the local ISPs/carriers, where i feel ripped off every time i pay my bill).
