I guess my headphones cable is shitting the bed these days, so I have to replace it. But holy shit, 15 euros for a fucking audio cable Audiotechnica? Come on... blobcatunamused

@netfox I know, it's annoying that the cable costs quite a bit (the cheapest price I was able to find locally is 25€), but considering that I use my headphones A LOT, it's just an annoyance. Also I hate that my headphones use a proprietary connector, which makes it more of a pain in the ass. But I guess it's better than having a non-detachable cable.

@getimiskon yeah same, happy having to replace the cable considering my last headphones have been working perfectly for years now

TIL the m40x have a proprietary cable, shitty practices

@netfox yeah, the end that connects to the headphones is proprietary. The connector that connects (and locks) to the headphones is proprietary, I think. I may be wrong though. Unfortunately AT's headphones are like this, both M40x and M50x, which use the same type of cable. It sucks, but sucks more to deal with a broken non-detachable cable.

@foufoutos τσιμπημένη τιμή, αλλά το δέχομαι. Επίσης έχω ήδη δεύτερο καλώδιο για καβάτζα.
