@getimiskon there are some "mini" ones like the hercules starlight, if you want something cheap and basic.

big ones can be found used too, at random prices. just make sure they are compatible with mixxx*

* unless you enjoy javascript, midi mapping, and reverse engineering

@getimiskon from what i saw if you want not cheap and basic, the FLX4 or the Inpulse 500 seem to be the "this is the one you buy if you want the most cost effective/reliable console that isn't full studio grade"

@icedquinn if I would get one, of course I would check the compatibility with mixxx. It's my software of choice for broadcasting. But yeah, I would consider that.

btw using a crossfader with the keyboard shortcut on mixxx kind of sucks

@getimiskon blobcatgoogly i can imagine. being an analogue input and all.

you'd have better luck rigging a puredata patch to convert hotkeys in to a smooth transition over midi if you're gonna do that. or even just getting literally any midi fader and using that.
