my friend @jsalvador has told me about how oracle terminated his free server with no warning. his theory is "inactive thing for too much time".
I do lots of backups of wafrn but my question is, what server hosting should I look to?
hetzner is out of the list because hETZNERED
contabo looks interesting
but idk

BuyVM, they have a law-of-the-land policy regarding abuse complaints and take a very strong pro-free speech stance (so you won't get hetznered) and very fast machines for the price
i'd avoid contabo because they oversell a lot and don't really give a shit if someone on the node is hammering the CPU 24/7

@meso I think I had told dushman about contabo before he started using it for raccoon's server. I'm not sure if he used it before that.
