Kebab > Gyros > Shawarma
(Just my opinion though. I won't fight you - they are all really good.)
I’ve not tried Al Pastor yet. Not even sure where to get it here. 😅

@sigmasternchen I haven't tried Shawarma, but Kebab and Gyros aren't that different. The biggest difference is the meat that's being used, because Gyros is made with pork (or chicken). I think Kebab is usually made from beef, but i'm not sure. So it's really just a preference thing.

@getimiskon @sigmasternchen doners are usually made from chicken too (cuz its cheap i assume) though there's beef doner, i believe i tried that in germany but im not sure, didnt look like chicken anyway

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz I think Kebab is usually lamb (or chicken in Germany). Also I think the spices used a bit different. But yeah, it’s probably pure preference. Either way, both are pretty good. 😅

@sigmasternchen oh, i see. i'm personally more used to eating Gyros (places that sell it are literally everywhere here), and i never really had kebab. But as i said, it's a preference thing (tbh i don't like lamb that much).
