every time I post an image without alt text, I feel a bit bad tbh. I also did not post stuff in the past because I did not want to provide alt text.

here's a devilish idea, post followers only, and if anyone complains softblock them (block then unblock so they unfollow)...

@kaia i think alt text should be added in public posts with images. If you make a post for your followers, do what you want. If someone wants alt text, they can ask and can be added later.

@kaia Fuck alt text. The only time I use alt-text is if I'm building a web-page or captioning an image within a blog post.

@adiz in the past a Mastodon lady PMd me about missing alt text on one post. I went to her zodiac esoteric website and not a single image had any alt text.

@kaia@brotka.st idk when i started but i got into this habit of always doing it i even add alt text for direct posts and stuff and i'll put off posting an image if i don't feel like writing it right then send there

@kaia it's a bit of work, but thanks to the descriptive post I was able to look up edc holders. I need that one and one and another for phones and a dog leash attachment.
