@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz I don't know a better way - and I don't think doxing works in this case either.
But that's not the point. For me this is about morality. I think vigilantism is morally wrong. So I'm not going to do it. Period.
If I had enough information to really do damage to them by doxing, I'd rather give the information to the police. I know a lot of people here don't like the police - which is understandable to some degree. But I support democracy, which inherently only works with some sort of executive power.
If you don't agree with me, that's fine. That's just my opinion after all.

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz Totally fair. But I’m opposed to skipping the democratic process. Being jury, judge and executioner (especially when you are not even appointed by the people) - being a vigilante - is about the most undemocratic thing you can do.

@getimiskon@fedi.getimiskon.xyz Fair. Maybe I should have been a bit more precise: For me, in my situation, vigilantism is immoral. And oft course, that's because of my personal moral system, and my personal thoughts on politics. So it might be different for others.
For example, somebody who is into anarchism might disagree strongly with my point of view - and that's fine.
