@kaia it is, they tried redesigning it but like its a very weird feature no one really wanted, workspaces. Its clear they wanted to copy discords look without copying it. Its like an ai generated discord

@kaia you can try dino if you really want a very minimalist interface, or you just like gnome apps (i guess not, but this shit has good support for audio/video calls)

@getimiskon @kaia I used to like it because it wasnt an ugly python mess and just lacked a lot of features because GNOME philosophy of sucking ass. Then it broke

@meso @getimiskon @kaia there’s kaidan but you can’t use omemo with it because it only supports modern omemo and absolutely nobody uses the one other client that isn’t stuck on an ancient version

@meso i only use it to test audio and video calls on my server. Nothing else really. For my desktop i use profanity and that's enough. Seriously though, there isn't a good client for desktops that is as good as conversations, as far as i know.
