@NeonPurpleStar reddit died when it stopped being open source (it was in the past). After that it was in life support really. But the straw that really broke the camel's back was when it added these crazy fees for accessing its APIs.

Honestly, if you need that much money because your shitty project doesn't make any money to at least keep it running, then go fucking bankrupt. And eat shit.

@getimiskon @NeonPurpleStar yep. Apollo was the GOAT reddit third party app and it closed down because of this shit. Reddit has turned into a bot farm.

@Sammerman to be honest, i never used that specific app, but i still used a third-party app back when i still used that service. i remember the official app was always dogshit, same as the redesign (res was always installed no matter what, it was a great addition). also i think the moderation bots got affected by the API change.
