@NeonPurpleStar I know that feeling xD. Both in terms of feeling of fitting in with queers (as a crossdresser, who is still straight) and also sometimes I feel not enough of a tech nerd on fedi. blobcatjoy

But I have met both very nice queer people (who even have some patience with misgendering them on the TRPG Table here and there...) and also more than enough who are programmers themselves but are also very fine with people just interested in tech xD (Some of the tech stuff just flies over my head)

@NeonPurpleStar about fitting with queers. I think you fit in just fine as a bi-sexual person. My sister also is like that and fits in with those the queers just like that QueerCatHeart_Bisexual

@NeonPurpleStar I think that I know a similar feeling. “Am I just saying that I’m an enby so that I can be part of the community?”

Impostor syndrome is mean. You are valid. neocat_hug

@NeonPurpleStar Ah, no worries, I didn’t interpret you as exclusively liking men and women but nothing in between… Are there even people like that?

@mira if i am honest, i don't know what enby means much

i have my own gender dysphoria, because i dislike my own masculinity and like being fem

but i am ok with me being amab

@jeder @mira this might sound hypocritical, but i love jade venus (pornstar trans woman), so that's why i am saying i am pan

@NeonPurpleStar Enby can be lots of things, and maybe it’s not even possible to list them all, all that’s clear is that it’s not man and not woman!

For me, being an enby (with an agender flavour) is seeing how society divides everything into feminine and masculine, and being like “to hell with that, I don’t want these pointless rules and restrictions, I am me and I want to freely pick from column A and from column B”.

@NeonPurpleStar @mira sometimes i feel like i want to be more enby, but it doesn't show much. It's closer to what i feel, but i'm still not sure. Still feel like i'm getting impostor syndrom neocat_googly_shocked

@getimiskon @NeonPurpleStar “I want to be an enby” was definitely a thought that I once had neocat_3c

@mira I mean, I feel that everything needs effort and i'm not sure if i can put any of it. Like i want to be more fem, yet i don't look like that, only act like that to a degree, i guess you get what i'm trying to say.

@getimiskon @NeonPurpleStar I don’t think you need to put in any effort to use a label. A trans person isn’t defined by transitioning, even if the name might suggest it.

@getimiskon @NeonPurpleStar When I started identifying as agender, I honestly wasn’t expecting anything to change. I mean, it’s just a label, right? But then I started seeing myself in a new light and some things changed on their own.
